SECURE DROP OFF BOXES FOR YOUR BALLOTS

There is another alternative to return your ballot to be counted, use one of the county's drop off boxes. Contra Costa County has "secure" DROP OFF BOXES outside every City Hall in the county - accessible 24/7. Afraid that the postal service won't get your ballot in on time? Go to the SECURE DROP OFF BOX! These drop off boxes have been available for a few of years. According to the County Elections Office, approximately 2,000 voters used the boxes in 2014, but that increased to 89,000 in 2018. Be safe and use a DROP OFF BOX!
