Government only works if everyone participates. Communication is key to getting everyone involved. As it is the responsibility of the city to reach out to the public, it is also the public's responsibility to seek out information. We can no longer sit on the sidelines. We must participate to guide our city to a better future!

Anna Smith, M.Ed. is a sixth generation Californian and a third generation Pinole resident descended from a mix of silver miners and immigrants. Anna is the founding executive director of The Quinan Street Project; an arts organization working to provide accessible arts education to Pinole and to the entire West Contra Costa Unified School District. A theatre artist and activist, Anna is committed to bringing progressive values to her hometown.
