2020 Retrospective
The Pinole City Council has had important changes to its leadership. In the past two years there have been five new council members elected:
-
2018, Norma Martinez-Rubin, Vincent Salimi, Anthony Tave
-
2020, Devin Murphy and Maureen Toms.
Pinole for Fair Government (P4FG) believes that Local Government should reflect and represent its residents:
-
We take pride in our role in our local elections
-
We have mentored, endorsed and campaigned for four of these recently elected council members
-
We sought Change
-
We sought diversity
-
We sought fresh perspectives
-
We sought Unity
-
We will continue to keep the Community Informed and aware
-
We will continue to seek improved communication between our City Government and the citizens of Pinole.
Pinole for Fair Government thanks Pinole citizens for making these changes possible.
We are a grassroots team of citizens who have committed to working for a Better Pinole.
We humbly ask for your financial support so that we may continue to:
-
Hold More Town Halls
-
Hold Community Conversations with your elected officials
-
Plan Future community events to bring everyone together and help our Old Town image
-
Continue to Educate and Inform our community via social media platforms
-
Continue to Mentor and support the future leaders of Pinole
-
Continue to hold our City and its officials accountable to its citizens
